In pentaho CUBE building, if I want to add a dimension (say customer dimension with name, age group, city, state, country) , do I've to add each column as dimension or I can add dim_customer as dimension with columns as attributes?

..for slicing-n-dicing the measures? In other cube building tools, the approach has been to add table as dimension, define attributes , define hierarchical relationship between these attributes ...any pointers would be great.
