How can I stop getting so irritated over connection/server errors when I make forum posts?
-
So... I just got a 504 error when I tried to make a reddit post. And *god* it is EXTREMELY frustrating. It's not like any other error, since errors like this actually do have consequences (since the time that you posted a comment *does* actually matter). Of course, in the long run, no one will remember *most* of my posts on reddit, or any other forum, for that matter. But in a few cases (when trying to make a first impression on someone, for example), these errors may turn out to be critical.

Have you tried writing the comment in a word processor and cutting/pasting it when ready? Trusting your browser to retain text is unwise.
