Where are the best rock climbing locations in Thailand?

I'd recommend Chiang Mai if you want a different experience (ie: not near beaches). It's north of thailand so the weather is cooler and drier. Climbing area is at Crazy Horse Buttress and the climbs are beautiful. it's great for beginner to intermediate climbers but there are some project gems as well. Lots of activities to do on rest days - white water rafting, cycling arnd the old city, yoga classes, night markets on weekdays and weekends. best times to go is Nov-Jan. it's cool and dry. I've gone in Sept/Oct - hot and wet weather. But the good part is, when it rains, there are routes in a cave that you can try out. and it's amazing. the cave looks like you're in the lost world. getting there is easy. 45 min from the city, go by motorbike. or if you have a big group, you can approach chiang mai rock climbing. they have red trucks that go to the crag for 250bht which includes a decent lunch.
