How can any human being predict or control the next thought that will come into their Mind?

Of course. That's the point of meditative practice. We can control what enters our consciousness under controlled conditions. You can't meditate while in the audience at the World Cup, for instance. I'd say that "mind" and "consciousness" and "brain" aren't necessarily the same thing, but you can certainly control the next thought that comes into your consciousness.

No and that proves we have no free will, as we can´t control what thoughts or options we will have for consideration. That also is key for naturally releasing anxiety about distressing negative thoughts. Once you see you are not generating them, your guilt or shame decreases and you can simply enjoy the show ( while still remembering it is a show, that is, not being carried away by thinking )

We shouldn't..There is no computer in the world which can do what our simple brain can do while consuming so little power. If we had to consciously make every single calculations,associations,analogy,thin-slicing our brain does , and we take for granted,It would be impossible for humans to survive However,having said that, It is indeed possible to control ,to a great extent ,the kind of thoughts produced..It involves controlling your mood,which is relatively easier.You should modulate the surrounding environment and mind-set to be in the sate of mind which produces the kind of thought pattern you deem desirable.
