Are there any X11 terminal apps that seamlessly integrate with tmux/screen?
-
I'd like closing X11 terminals to behave like detaching from a screen session, and to be able to reconnect to terminals that are in X11 from ssh and vice-versa. Has anyone seen an integration?

Answer:
In my experience, this is not possible. But you can use NX from noMachine. If you have a ssh-login on a remote workstation, you can use the nxproxy to tunnel your X-Sessions and if you ssh-connection dies, you can reconnect to your runnning X-Programs via NX. That's, what I use at work to connect to one of our clients. But someone else set it up, so don't ask me for details :-)
