How do I delete my Google+ profile picture?

Click on "Your Albums" Click on "Profile Photos" Click on the picture you want to delete Click on "Options" - bottom left hand corner Click on "Delete Photo"

It is very easy to edit, modify and delete images from your Google+ profile using the Picasa Web Albums viewer (http://picasaweb.google.com/). Doing it through Google+ is also quite simple. Click on the photo you want to delete Click 'Actions' Click 'Delete photo'

To truly delete all your profile photos, you need to go to Picasa Web Albums to delete them there.  At time of joining Google+, you checkmark a disclaimer that allows photos you upload to Google+ to go to Picasa Web Albums - another Google property.  I learned this when I deleted my Google+ account and recreated it, to see what happened.  The disclaimer is below the initial setup window.

As long as you have access to the source where you photo is located, then that it’s easy.If your picture were taken from one of your social profiles, or it is a photo that someone else took of you. Stumbled upon this since I had the same question, but found the answer after looking around some more. When you go to your Profile Photos, and click on the image you want deleted, you'll see it pop up with a black background. Look to the UPPER LEFT corner, and you'll see a trash can to delete. I, too, kept on clicking on the lower left for Options and getting frustrated that it wasn't there. They should really put it in both places. Hope that helps!

Hey Buddy, This is really simple and easy…So firstly go to your Google + profile, then delete your Google+ Profile picture, pick Photos from the dropdown menu in the upper left corner. Click on albums and then go to Profile Photos album.  And there would see the option of deleting the profile photo.. First thing the steps you've followed resulted to put the question here and made me to answer. Change the profile picture 1st and now your picture may be visible in photos. You can try hide this from timeline which isn't visible to public!
