Steve knew that many things he'd thought about and that he & I had talked about long ago would come true following his passing, and that he hoped to be able to watch things come to life from a place beyond this lifetime. He loved Apple very much, but was constantly thinking about what would and could come next. He was never 100% content with things, but got to a point where he realized that something not done now could be achieved in a later revision. Getting things into the market and into the hands of many more was important to him. Seeing people use the products, pleased him greatly as seeing them sitting on a shelf did not serve why he felt he was in this lifetime. He knew he was a mere mortal and that others would come following him that had the same drive and perseverance towards perfection that he took with him on his way out into the universe. He shared with me long before his passing that when he did pass he would be thinking of his family and those he'd shared time with in this life. I can only hope that at some level I would be lucky enough to have just one of those electrical impulses with my name on them, but his & Laurene's wedding anniversary is March 18th, which happens to be my birthday so I know that at least that day was part of his thought structure as was asking for the family to be blessed and guided in his absence from here. I can't say for sure what Steve Jobs would be thinking before he died. But one thing is for sure. As much as I've understood him and his thinking from all the information about him and his life, in his books and all the videos. I can definitely say that he would not be content with his achievements. Being satisfied is an altogether different thing. He may have been satisfied with the work done or may be not so satisfied. But he definitely would not have been content. That's something great visionaries, artists, scientists have in common. There would always be something more they could have contributed to this society, if they lived beyond their destined age. Leonardo Da Vinci would never say that " This was all I had the capability of doing. I could have done no more. That's it." Or Einstein saying " That was the most I could've done. So let me die now." Steve Jobs was not even content with the most successful products of his time. 'He found the letters in Google's logo imperfect.' Since Steve was such a perfectionist and one of the greatest innovators. He would definitely have wanted to launch atleast a bunch of new Apple products which could make way into our daily lives and make it easier.
