What exactly are Rss feeds?

What is the Best way to Aggregate/Import/Pull RSS Feeds from Websites/Blogs to a Kindle?

  • I want to get RSS Feeds on my Kindle from my favorite websites/blogs. So that whenever i am hooked on to a WIFI i can pull in the RSS feeds from them. From a very basic research on Google I found a number of apps that can do this for me. But before jumping in and downloading and trying them i wanted opinions from my friends on Quora here.

  • Answer:

Try http://www.klip.me/. Go to the settings page and authorize it to access your Google Reader account. Subscribe to all the RSS feeds you want on Google Reader. Now, set your schedule for delivery of feed content (entire articles) on the http://Klip.me settings page. You can even choose to deliver feeds from only specific folders.

An alternative selection is http://fabrss.com. It is not only a online RSS reader but also it can send unread post to your kindle every day. When you find an interesting post on your kindle, you can also save it to Evernote or Pocket by one-click.

This was something I really wanted a few years ago. I found that pulling entire RSS feeds was really painful though.Kindles are slow. They are good for reading, but not browsing through long lists of articles. Ideally you'd be able to browse your RSS feeds on your computer (where it's fast) and only publish the content you wanted to your Kindle.I had not heard of any way to do this so I built my own.https://epub.pressIt's a Chrome Extension I built that let's you take open tabs and stitch them into a book. My system is: Browse my RSS feed in Feedly. Open anything interesting in a new tab. Publish all the open tabs as a single book to my Kindle. It works really well for me. If that sounds of interest you should give it a try and let me know what you think! You can get it from the Chrome Webstore here: https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/epubpress/pnhdnpnnffpijjbnhnipkehhibchdeok
