how to set mobile as NFC tag?

What are the best options for an NFC tag writer/reader software and hardware for MAC?

  • I'm looking for a basic USB NFC tag writer/reader and software to accompany it that will work on OSX. I'm looking into buynfctags.com's alpha software, but what are my other options?

Just spent an hour trying to find software for our project too. Finally landed on this page: http://www.acs.com.hk/index.php?pid=product&id=ACR122U, click on the download tab and scroll to the bottom for the Mac enabled driver download. This all depends on you having a reader/writer thats PC compatible. Good look NFC is bad ass.

The best option for reading NFC tags from a PC/Mac is with the ACR1255U-J1 or ACR122U readers. Both of these readers are readily available, connect over USB and are supported by open source tools for PCSC readers.
