How to synchronize IPhoto libraries between several Macs?

Is there a good way to sync iPhoto's library across Macs?

    There's also SyncPhotos (formerly iPhotoSync) http://www.haystacksoftware.com/syncphotos/ With the announcement of Apple's iCloud recently, the need for this syncing iPhoto Libraries across Macs will eventually go away.  However, I do think folks can still attempt to use the rsync feature that comes with all Macs (since Mac OSX is Linux based).  Check out this guide related to syncing iTunes library - http://guides.macrumors.com/Keeping_2_iTunes_Libraries_in_Sync.  I wonder whether this works for iPhoto libraries as well.

The following suggestion is not to be taken seriously: • Download Mac OS X Server • Configure an authentication method (I think Open Directory is the default) • Bind the Macs to the server, so you can create Mobile accounts • Set up HomeSync http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4465 (there is a link to a PDF from there) HomeSync is Apple's software that allows for “roaming profiles”. It is supposed to sync all changes with the server when you logout, so provided you logout of one mac and wait for the syncing to complete, when you login on the other Mac, you should be using the same data: new Photos would get copied, along with the changed iPhoto Libraries. It was designed for corporate/education environments. The following suggestion is to be taken seriously: • Download and setup an account for Dropbox or Sugarsync • configure it to use your entire home area as the sync folder.
