    This might not be the answer you're looking for, but I'll give it a shot. I've never touched a N950 (it came out long after I stopped messing with Maemo), but it's supposedly the developer version of the N9, with a keyboard added. [1] You should be able to get apps from the Nokia store [2], just treat it like a N9. You can sideload 3rd-party apps after enabling it in the settings (see Settings --> Applications --> Installations --> "Allow installations from non-Store sources"). You can find detailed instructions on the web.
