How do I create custom tabs on Facebook?

Would anyone like Mashable, Social Media Examiner or Facebook ever hold a design contest for custom page tabs?

  • With 2010 coming to the end everyone is looking at the years past work for submission to different advertising contests.  Most of the contests don't really have categories for things like Facebook Pages/Tabs that are taking place every day.  I have seen several blogs do top ten lists etc but nothing with a submission process.  If anyone knows of any contests please let me know.

    I'd say no. Mashable won't.   Having said that Mashable does rank the number of user that select the "like" button on corporate Facebook pages and as we all know its the holistic approach to designing the FB page that get users to interact with the brand. The more you can customize the page and subsequent tabs to remain consistent with the overall brand the more connectivity you'll have with your customers.   So, in a sense, the contest is live and you and I and all Facebook users are judges.
