How do I leave a league on Yahoo fantasy football?

Who will play Quora Fantasy Football 2011?

  • I'll step up to the plate and volunteer as commissioner of the Quora 2011 Fantasy Football League.  (Actually, there must be a better football idiom for "step up to the plate," but I'll leave that to Quora.) I'll run the league on Yahoo! Fantasy, since that's always been my favorite platform.  Here's what I need: -- 11 other Quora members committed to playing out a season (names that come to mind: , , , , , but please suggest more).  I would be willing to go to 14 teams if we have enough demand.  Please follow this question and reply with your interest; you can also direct message me to express interest. -- Suggestions for stat categories.  I typically play with standard stat categories, but would be open to one or two wrinkles that make the season more interesting: 2QB's, PPR, etc.  No IDP's for this league. I'll run an online draft, and once we have the league established I'll do my best to find a draft time that meets everyone's schedule.  Let's get this started!

Right now we're at 11.  I'll open it up to 3 more -- would love to get involved.  Can't imagine there's a better fit for a Quora league!  Also, , any interest from , , or ?  I could hold a few spots for Quora peeps to help legitimize the league! I'll set everything up and send out the URL and password tonight. UPDATE: I've set up the statistics categories, and Quora messages will go out tomorrow with registration information. Currently, I have league settings and stats set up as follows: September 4 live draft at 2PM EST 14 teams 2 divisions Head-to-Head Free Agents/Waivers 6 playoff teams (Week 14, 15, 16) Division winners make the playoffs, but are seeded by overall standings QB, QB, WR, WR, RB, RB, WR/RB/TE, WR/RB/TE, K, DEF, BN, BN, BN, BN PASSING: 25 yards = 1 TD = 6 INT = -2 RUSHING: 10 yards = 1 TD = 6 RECEIVING: Reception = .5 10 yards = 1 TD = 6 2 Point Conversion = 2 Fumble Lost = -2 Fumble Return TD = 6 FG: 0-39 yds = 3 40-49 = 4 50+ = 5 PAT = 1 DEF: Sack = 1 INT = 2 Fumble Recovery = 2 TD = 6 Safety = 2 Block Kick = 2 Kickoff/Punt TD = 6 0 points allowed = 10 1-6 points allowed = 7 7-13 points allowed = 4 14-20 points allowed = 1 21-27 points allowed = 0 28-34 points allowed = -1 35+ points allowed = -4 I am open to suggestions on all of the above (free agent budgets?) but I'll come to a decision tomorrow and we'll run with it.  No paralysis by analysis -- it's a fantasy league! UPDATE (8/23): We're at 14 teams, so that's our cap.  I've sent out the first few invitations, but Quora limits the number that I can distribute to individuals who don't follow me.  So I'll send the rest out over the coming days, or you can follow me and I'll get it out to you quicker.
