I'm pretty sure the answer is no. When I was working on search quality back in 2008, Marissa Mayer focused primarily on Search user experience and products. Moreover, if you check out the list of Google executives on http://www.google.com/corporate/execs.html, there are 8 other VPs of products other than Marissa, each with their own focus areas. From an organizational perspective, it wouldn't make sense for her to encroach on the product designs and decisions that other VPs are making.
