How hard is it to get into Stanford's CS coterm?
-
Is there an overall GPA cutoff? What do they look at? How well do you need to have done in your undergrad CS classes? How many undergrad CS classes do you need to have taken?

Answer:
When I applied to co-term in 2005, most students I talked to felt admission was mostly based on GPA, with a 3.5 being the minimum bar.

I recall reading that in 2011, 79 of the 81 that applied got in. I now can't find the Stanford site I saw that stat. One professor said, if you have above a 3.7, you're almost guaranteed acceptance.

It's pretty automatic if you're a good student or have good recommendations. I had a close friend who had only taken two CS classes, one pass/fail, and was accepted.
