What does syncing do to your iPhone?

What is the easiest way to move MP3s to an iPod/iPhone without syncing with iTunes?

  • Is there a way to transfer the MP3s by USB or Wi-Fi to the default music storage without using iTunes? What other apps or alternatives can I use to listen to my MP3s on my iPod/iPhone/iPad without resorting to iTunes sync?

If you don't need offline access: Amazon cloud player. If you are Prime you can upload unlimited songs to it. Spotify has offline support if you pay for premium. I gave up trying to circumvent the POS called iTunes long ago.

If you have an iOS-based Apple device, the best way I have found is to subscribe to iTunes Match for $25 per year. It matches and/or uploads your entire iTunes library on your computer and lets you access your entire iTunes library from any iOS device, even download tracks to your device, as long as you have an internet connection. This is especially great if you have more than one iOS device and you want to keep them in sync without EVER having to plug into iTunes or even launch iTunes on your computer. This is also great for people with large iTunes libraries but limited mobile storage, as iTunes Match lets you not only download songs to your device from the cloud, but also delete the ones you no longer want to listen to from local storage.

I think the best way to transfer the Mp3 files to iPhone/iPod without syncing is to use the software "Copy trans suite" it's free and easy to use

iTunes Match, hands down. It does require use of iTunes, but not for syncing. iTunes is a great application, (at least on a Mac) so personally I'd stay with iTunes anyway.

There are many software can do this kind of job, I personally prefer Syncios because it is free and easy to operate. This software is installed on computer, both windows and Mac version are available. But you have to install iTunes to run this software, and you don't need to open it. http://www.syncios.com/transfer-music-from-iphone-to-computer.html

http://www.fonepaw.com/ios-transfer/ is a good option to run. It  gives you right to transfer songs from the computer to iPhone, iPad or iPod for free.  It works well  on my computer.
