How do you create animations in Adobe After Effects and display them on LED panels/lights?
-
I saw a video on youtube of someone who had replicated the Deadmau5 LED head - creating animations in Adobe After Effects . He has then display these animations on the head using LED lights and I wondered how you go about doing this? What types of panels/lights would work?

Answer:
For sure You need to know what are the resolution of the screen and how the material is transfered to the screen. Typicaly the resolutions are relatively low (about 300 pixels height). When I was creating those, i was forced to use codecs like divx or relevant. Another things You should keep in mind is the way how the viewer sees your animation. Because of the low resolution some of the informations, small typo etc. Will be unreadable.
