How can I keep track of receipts better?

How can receipts become more fun?

• Most are peppered with ugly ads no one reads, and no really rich information - imagine if they included how many times you've shopped with your loyalty card and your trends/habits/suggestions for future visits? Stats of the day, and information specific to you that can be called up instantly based on your credit card or phone number. This wouldn't cost much, but would be a huge incentive for people to keep receipts and track their progress over time - it would definitely make any grocery store stand out in my mind, and I wouldn't mind paying the ridiculously high prices that places like Whole Foods charge.
