I actually wrote a blog post about this very topic. Basically, my view is that even though it may be difficult to find people and really have a strong presence as a B2B company on G+ at this point due to the relatively small user-base, there are some things you really won't want to overlook. If nothing else, because this is a Google product, I predict that there will be even more serious SEO implications behind Google+ brand pages than there already are now so definitely keep an eye on things over there on G+.
