Does anyone know what type of flowering indoor plant has large shiny leaves and pink flowers that droop?

Looks somewhat tropical or southern to me. I must find out!

Answer:
This is genus Medinilla; there are about 150 species. Medinilla magnifica is the only species grown as a houseplant so that is probably what we see here. Aka Rose Grape plant and Malaysian Orchid. It's native to the Phillipines and I've never seen one in person. I'm surprised they are not seen more often, it's really stunning. Apparently it can also occur as an epiphyte like orchids, by growing as a parasite on trees.

I have one that I bought it at a Meijer in my area last year. No rebloom so far but it is starting to thrive. It is a little particular, I am still figuring it out!
