How is a fork made and what is it made out of?

Is there a way in GitHub to view every single commit made to every fork of a repository?

  • There's a cool graph showing each commit, but if a repository gets forked from a fork, I don't think it's included. The "history" also seems incomplete. I'd love to see all commits (and their commit messages) in one page. Thank you!

  • Answer:

This is exactly how the network graph works. If you fork a fork, it'll be included in the network. The graph shows every unique commit across the entire network.
