Best Buy Mobile: Why has BestBuy STILL not received it's Sprint iPhone 4s 's, despite taking money for preorders, and without informing loyal customers what the delay is and how long it will take?

Old post but just thought I give an answer, one thing people need to understand is that the phone don't come from a Best Buy warehouse they come straight from Apple. Apple is the one whom give the stores the phone the first few weeks till there is enough to store in the Best Buy warehouse for easier and faster delivery. Best Buy does Preorders to save you a phone as they come in, Preorders can be cancelled at any given time if one don't have the patients to wait for a phone that they will eventually have maybe not the day of but in the upcoming days. Just cause a Preorder was made does not entitle you to a phone they day of due to amount of phones apple will send also what carrier phones as well they will send. Usually AT&T and Verizon are tough ones to get cause it in high demand. So one can't get upset at Best Buy cause the manufacture (Apple) is short and not  fulfilling all the Preorders on day one. This is not something only on Best Buy but iPhone's are usually sold out on day one, so you going to get upset cause there sold out... Should have woke up earlier to be first in line, or should have got in the Preorder line earlier to, or just understand your asking for something that everyone else is asking for on the same day more then likely you where not the first one on that list of Preorders. Be patient people and stop getting upset at the wrong people and think your entitled to everything. And with the gift card yes they gave them to you cause that is how it work, trade a phone there you get a gift card from them BestBuy is not a pawn shop if you want cash go to a pawn shop then. I know when I shop I want to be sure I am getting what I need and its easy for me. If they give me gift cards then that means that is no cash coming out if my pocket and then when my phone does come in they will tell me and I will calmly walk into the store and leave happy. But till then sit down and be patient it is just a phone, the world is not going to end cause you dont have the newest iPhone on day one, when in only about a month anyone can walk into a stroe and get one but some people want to make a fuss of something so petty, and as to waiting outside for 2 hours that is a choice you have made, did Best Buy call you and tell you that your phone is ready for pick up ? If they did not call you then it is because apple either sent them a small amount to cover the first few Preorders before yours or they just didn't send them those specific phones. Relax people.
