Chromebooks: Is it possible to switch from chrome 20 beta to chrome 20 stable?
-
I am using a chromebook, and I updated to beta, but I was wondering if when the beta version of my os goes stble, it will update now that I've switched back to the stable channel.
-
Answer:
There are 2 ways to return to stable: A) On the about page, select stable from the drop down menu. This will not revert you immediately, you will have to wait until stable catchs up with beta. B) If you want an immediate revert, you need to create a recovery usb/SD with a stable image and than recover from that. see:http://support.google.com/chromeos/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=1080595
