It means several things... The statement maker is a juvenile who loves incredibly nerdy, geeky forms of expressing irreverent/disrespectful thoughts/ideas towards a female. And he's probably not getting his "spinecrawler" near any "nydus canals" anytime in the near future, if you know what I mean. Fungal growth is the opposite of sexy, and he should probably see a doctor for that. Spinecrawler is ditto that, and I'd defer him to a urologist, or at least possibly a sex therapist. Neither "spine" nor "crawl" are terms *I* would want linked to my male parts, had I any of those to worry about. Back in my earlier http://B.net days, I'd have responded to a line like that (and I heard many like it back then!), with a casual wipe-out of his base and the cool comment of "Sorry, your spinecrawler died so fast I didn't even realize it was there. Better luck next time." But then, I was a much snarkier person back then.
