Is Canada good for sales job?

What are some ways to find sales job at technology start-ups in Canada or the U.S.?

• I have been doing sales for a large multinational for a few years now and looking to transition out into a start-up environment. I've been based in Canada and the U.S. before but looking mainly to stay in Canada. Why give up a multinational for a start-up? Generally start-ups are position to be more nimble and customize and modify solutions for customers as feedback comes in. The large multinational I work for has excessively long product cycles and as a salesperson, while I do pretty well, I need some excitement.
