Why do we use Gross Domestic Product instead of Net Domestic Product?

  • The new test product is proximity keys for house doors. Some vehicles currently use key, that, as soon as you are near the door it automatically unlocks. The concept is to use this for a house door. It would make entering the house in the dark or with full hands easier. The unit would be build inside the door so you would never see it and the control unit would be on a wall nearby, inside. Key would be programmable to add or remove if lost. Would this be a product you would use? Why or why not?

    No. It's only a slight incremental innovation. I would prefer some biometric access, like fingerprint or iris scan. Of course this involves making it absolutely so that cutting off fingers or scooping out eyes won't work.

Yes, I would use it. Although, the cost of such a system for my house would probably not make it worth it for me.
