How to use 3G on my phone?

If one upgraded from a 3G to a 4G Smartphone but only used the cell phone plan for email, accessing the internet and navigation (and streamed music and video only using free wi-fi), how much more data would the 4G phone use compared to the 3G phone?

  • For example, if normal Smartphone plan usage was 75 megabytes per month under the 3G plan, approximately how much data would one expect to use with a 4G Smartphone?
