One of my client's business has been taken over by another company. Is it possible to change the current Google Places listings to that of the new business? or do I have to create brand new listings for the new business?
-
My client's business caters to multiple locations and the new company also caters to all these locations.

Answer:
I would use "Report a problem" on the current listing itself to report the old business as closed (under the "more" dropdown), and create a brand new listing for the brand new business. That should avoid data issues down the road.

I would suggest simply, change the names, addresses & numbers. It works fine. Just did this for one of the listings.
