Answer:
Yes, it would be useful. But as a company executive in charge of setting up our equity compensation system I would be reluctant to pay, for several reasons: There is a lot of free material out there. The trick is finding it. I already have a good sense of what to do, and if I didn't I would hire outside counsel for advice. My biggest need is to explain the equity system to current and prospective team members, particularly the 90% who aren't well versed in all the jargon and conventions. The presentation has to be neutral, as the biggest source of friction is skeptical employees who perceive de rigueur terms like vesting, cliffs, and the strike price as unfair or onerous. A presentation we pay for, especially one customized or white labeled for our company, would be perceived as biased. On the other hand, the last thing I need is an advocate to foment dissent among employees. Normally, I would look for an informative run-down of startup equity online. Having said that, we might be willing to pay a few dollars on an arm's length basis for a recognized authority to bring offerees and new hires up to speed on equity compensation in a general sense so they can judge our plan for themselves, if the presentation were trustworthy and demonstrably more useful than a free link. As a professional, I think you might get more mileage out of giving the basic course away for free, as did in a link shared by : http://www.scribd.com/doc/55945011/An-Introduction-to-Stock-Options-for-the-Tech-Entrepreneur-or-Startup-Employee. He says that 160,000+ people have read his guide, which is an astonishing gift to the community.

Yes & Yes, This is worth a lot, but right now I can only afford to pay $50 for a 2hour session.
