The above solution will not display a html signature in other client other than outlook. The image will be read as an attachment and the code, if any, will be stripped and displayed as code.

Don’t create your Outlook Mac email signature using Word - https://emailsignaturerescue.com/news/item/why-microsoft-word-generated-email-signatures-are-bad-for-your-business You will need to code your email signature in HTML, host social icon images and link to those hosted image file paths in the HTML and then add your signature’s HTML code through your Outlook Mac signature settings. You can use https://emailsignaturerescue.com, we provide fully coded HTML email signature templates, tested across all major email clients. We also host images for you, if you don’t know how to upload, crop, resize images and provide an extensive library of over https://emailsignaturerescue.com/features/add-social-icons, including 90 social networks, 11 sizes, 8 styles and 30 colors. For Mac Outlook 2016, if you can create your signature in Word, then you will be able to just copy that and paste it into the signature panel, this will allow for the icons to be linked to your profiles. Thanks!

To add social media icon like Facebook to your Email Signature, do the following steps: Open MS Word on your Mac and start creating signature. Type all the text that you want to include in the signature. Download the Social Media icon and insert it below the text you’ve entered >> right click on icon and select “Hyperlink” >> in the “Link to” section, enter your Facebook page URL (To take your Facebook page URL, log into your FB account, click on your name and copy the URL) >> now click on OK. Click on “Edit” to copy the signature created on Word to the clipboard. Start your MS Outlook for Mac >> click on “Signatures” >> click on “+” >> select the check box next to New Signatures, click on Text Window and paste the copied URL (CTRL+V). Click on “Default Signatures”, select the email accounts that you want to associate with email signature >> and click on OK. Exit your Signature Window. Now open any new email message in your Outlook for Mac, the email signature should appear in the message box. Thanks & Regards,Peter Baris
