Where can I find the free beginner bass classes video online?

  • I like study bass and I want to learn it. I know almost nothing about bass, I don't have a clear idea that how to learn it, where I should begin my bass practice.     I just want to get some free beginner bass classes video first and develop my interests in playing bass. Thank you guys very much.

Youtube. You can find some great lessons from famous bassists like Victor Wooten, Marcus Miller, Billy Sheehan, and more. Also, you can look them up and see the possibilities you have on bass. However I highly recommend getting a teacher because you can whet your appetite online you can't get the feed back. A bass teacher will be able to give you personal feed back and advice of how to improve your style. While the internet is great it still doesn't offer good critique. Also, if you haven't seen it, this what you can do if you get really good: . So play bass, it's such an under rated instrument but it's amazing.

To be honest I would recommend getting a teacher - the benefits are boundless!!! Also, before you start learning songs and basslines, if you want to learn an instrument seriously, you need to become familiar with your instrument. For bass this would mean being able to find notes quickly without much thought and developing good fretting and plucking techniques. Although it may seem tedious, it is so much easier if you nail down the basics/rudiments first before you dive in to just learning basslines.
