What business steps do you need to take when creating mobile (iOS/Android) apps?

• I noticed that during the app submission process that one of the requirements is the name of the company that is submitting the application.  So let's say if I wanted to make a mobile game app and I want the company name to be "Jason Studios" and let's say I own the domain http://jasonstudios.com.  What are the typical business/legal steps that people take in order to correctly release their app to the public?  Would I need to incorporate the name Jason Studios? Does my app need to contain a Terms of Service or Agreement?  I don't have too much experience releasing mobile apps to the App Store/Market so I want to make sure I take the appropriate steps now so that way I don't have to worry about these things later.  I'm from the Bay Area therefore I prefer knowing the rules that apply to California residents.

Ans: When you are logged in on iTunes Connect, and when you are in the form to submit your app details, there's a field called "Copyright".  It means, "The name of the person or entity that owns the  exclusive rights to your app, preceded by the year the rights were  obtained (for example, "2008 Acme Inc."). Do not provide a URL." Hence, if the copyright of the app belongs to someone else, say you built the app for a business client, then you can write the client's name here Does my app need to contain a Terms of Service  or Agreement?
