    My suggestion is to definitely see who you are connected to on http://www.linkedin.com You can easily find a companies email pattern if you have at least one connection that is a 1st degree to you. I would also see if you can locate the hiring manager and connect with him or her. I am unsure what/ and where these popup questions are? Another suggestion is to view the companies website and look for an email address under careers.

I would suggest going further outside of the normal and mail (not email) your resume. Find 30 companies that fit what you are after. Then find the hiring managers for those companies and departments. Try LinkedIn. if that fails try going to their website and get the company phone number and call to find out who the hiring manager is. I know as someone who hires, I tend to ignore email as get hundreds per day. But I don't get much mail. Go the route of mailing a intro letter, five days later mail a cover letter and resume and then five days later follow up with a phone call. It may sound like a lot of work but you will get job offers from this process. Good luck
