In Chrome for Mac, how can I remove an extension's icon without uninstalling it?
-
There's no Hide Button option as in the Windows version.
-
Answer:
Right click the extension's icon and click "Hide Button". I just tested this on a Mac with the latest version of Chrome, it works. If you don't see it, make sure you're right clicking the extension's icon itself and not its entry on Chrome's list of extensions. If you still don't see it, update Chrome to the latest version (http://www.google.com/support/chrome/bin/answer.py?answer=95414) and try again.
