Why does Google not index all my pages?

Does Google index pages in people's history?  How else would it index thousands of dynamically created pages that have never been linked to?

  • In this case, these pages contain results individualized by the user's home address, with a list of providers in that user's area. I plan to stop this indexing using robots.txt, but just want to understand how Google got these links in the first place.

  • Answer:

Google can get information from the browser that you use.  If you use Google Chrome, for example, then the answer is "yes."  If you use a Google toolbar on other browsers, then the answer is also "yes."  Typical crawling, however, would not reveal personal results as the spider stops at log-in screens.
