How can I change the delete icon to an archive icon in iOS Mail when using Gmail through Exchange?
-
When using Gmail with Exchange (to get push notifications), the delete icon (a trash) archives the mail. Is it possible to get two icons (one for deleting and one for archiving) or at least to change the trash icon to an archive icon?

Answer:
As far as I'm aware, I'm afraid not. The only way to get the Archive option is by using Gmail settings rather than Exchange - and then you miss out on push notifications of course.

I don't think that this is possible since the archive button was introduced specifically to have compatibility with Gmail accounts. In all honesty, even without push notifications, setting up the account as a regular gmail account gets your mail faster than every 15 minutes.
