If you want specific users to see your info and updates, I suggest creating a Facebook Group for that purpose. Facebook Group is great if you: want to decide on your community's visibility - a group can be either public or private; want to choose which user can join a group - users can enter a group freely or after requesting access, or you can invite users yourself. Facebook Pages don't have that option as they are strictly public for Facebook users and other (outside) visitors to the Page.
