How can I download gmail for my mobile?

Are there any applications that can bulk download my attachments in Gmail?

  • I have a folder in gmail with scanned documents and would like to bul download them all to backup with dropbox. Is there any application, windows or mac, that can do this for me? I realise i could use a desktop client and just download my inbox but i would prefer to not download all of my emails and just the set with the attachments i require. Thanks for any help!

  • Answer:

1> Create a filter in Gmail to apply a unique label to messages with attachments. You may have already done this. 2>Enable advanced IMAP controls in labs. 3>Go to Labels in Gmail and deselect all labels except for your new unique label to exclude them from IMAP. 4>Configure your email client to connect to Gmail via IMAP, and sync. 5>Disconnect your client and restore your Gmail settings. You now have a copy of your messages that include attachments on your local machine.

A different approach: Get FREE 5GB at Sugarsync. Get extra 500MB using my referral link: https://www.sugarsync.com/referral?rf=em5xo2gaek6ah Go to your account, enable "Upload by Email" and you will get a special e-mail address @sugarsync Use that address to forward your email attachments: simply filter Gmail messages you need by some attributes and apply forward to all of them sumultaneously. SugarSync will automatically save the attachments in the folder /Magic Briefcase/Uploaded by Email. Update for those on Linux: Sugarsync is still ignoring community kindly request for Linux client. So, the other opportunity is to use http://www.MegaCloud.com which has seamlessly and error-free running Linux client (Debian at least) and has a directory for e-mail uploads. Use my referral link (http://www.megacloud.com/ref/maxyudin) to get extra 500MB to your 8GB free (up to 16GB free when some simple tasks complete). One more update:I've found a great answer here on Quora:

Yes! You can actually use odrive - it can download all your Gmail attachments into a folder. And your folder is automatically organized by senders and labels. It's super easy and we're in beta right now - check it out: http://blog.odrive.com/blog/2014/10/7/get-all-your-gmail-attachments-at-your-fingertips

Using the instructions here (http://www.labnol.org/internet/send-gmail-to-google-drive/21236/), you can apply a label to your emails and the attachments in those emails will be automatically saved to your Google Drive. Then you can download the entire folder having those attachments to your local drive. I just tried and it was very easy to work with.

Why don't you try this free for personal use software, it is very very very easy and convenient for downloading all your emails' attachment, or you can set up the filter to let the software know which email you want to donwload their attachment. download page: http://gearmage.com/maildownloader.html

I think I'm late to answer this.. Just that if you still want to do a bulk download of the attachments, try the Attachments Stack of our MetisMe app. You can select and download attachments in bulk.. Done. - Shalin Disclaimer: I'm the Founder @ MetisMe
