Which page has the most fans on Facebook?

Which is the best example of a Facebook page? Not just design, but interactivity and how the brand designed it to be used by fans.

  • I love to look at great examples of Facebook pages.  I'd like to know what other people think makes a GREAT page, what elements should go in to such a page.

  • Answer:

I think you can easily look at large brands making a big impact here and get some great ideas, but when I'm working with a client I usually look for 4 things: Engagement levels - Are people being not only responded to, but listened to as well? Value adding - Are users getting content and information that brings value to the community and to their experience? Is it stuff they can get from a news feed? If so, why would we want them here? We want to give them something MORE than the news feed experience. Clear actions - Are you asking your users to do something? The idea of a value exchange on a Facebook page might seem a bit crass to the social media purists, but you're engaging in a trade with users... you give them info and a chance to interact with a brand and you, in turn, ask them to take an action (clicking through to your site, checking out your promo, watching a video, etc.) Great design - I'm a stickler for design. When I see something that has a great idea, but a poor design or UI, it kills me. Think of something that is not only fun and visually stimulating, but easy and fun to use. Hope this gets your minds turning.
