Apache Solr: Are there any free virtual search applicances that contain everything you need including a front-end, so all I would need to do is just start it up and configurer what URL's to crawl?

I have tried the Blaze SOLR appliance but it seemed to just have the backend. Presumablly something like Project Blacklight would be all that would be need?
