    What works for your site is going to be totally different to others so I would recommend. Set up Analytics to track conversions and implement campaigns and custom segments to make sure you can accurately track which of your strategies is brining the highest converting traffic. Here is an answer I gave on some examples of custom segments Test as many things as you possibly can. Try to spend around the same amount of time on each one. Also keep in mind that some things will have a wquick results and some will be more long term (Adwords quick / natural SEO and content marketing long term).
