Duties and taxes are the same no matter what you do either you pay upfront when you bulk ship to Canada or you pay as product is sold. It costs much much more to be in country in Canada that's why the big players ship items from the US, so they pay the duties and taxes as the items are sold rather than having their money tied up  stored in inventory in Canada.
