What corporate business behaviours are criminal?

  Halo Effect: What does the partnership with a cause do to accrue positive feelings toward the corporation's brand?  Many cause partnerships are forged to borrow goodwill from the cause to, perhaps, refresh a brand or enhance corporate trust. New Business: What fresh prospects with consumers and/or other businesses does the cause relationship bring? Many companies look to these relationships to provide new audiences for their growth strategy. CSR Fulfillment: How does the cause fit with the Corporate Social Responsibility promises of the corporation. If there is a mutual vision between a corporation and a cause, then the relationship might substantiate the company's expressed commitments to, for instance, community investment and sustainability. Employee Engagement: There might be a connection between a company and a cause to help engage employees. Causes like the United Way are avenues to get employees active in community giving and volunteering. That's a start.
