How To Create Epaper In Joomla?

Joomla!: How do I create a private user-login for the cloudbase template, similar to the user login created with the iReview template in the jReview tutorials?

  • I am trying to do step #8 of the city guide tutorial for jReview, but I am not following it 100%.  I do not have access to the iReview template and instead am using the free template "cloud base" template from http://joomla.org.  I am getting stuck on the part where I create a login requirement for the user menu.

I haven't looked at the video you linked, but I will attempt an answer anyway, as your next step seems quite straightforward: Create a login requirement for the user menu. You can make it so that either a whole menu is hidden until a user is logged in, or just some of the menu items on an otherwise public menu are hidden until the user logs in.Bear in mind: Joomla creates you a "User Menu" by default, and this is just named for your convenience. A menu is a menu, you can call it whatever you want. You could call it "City Guide Menu", for example. To keep the menu from showing to the public, simply open the module in the backend to edit it, and on the right side look for the Access parameter. Change this from Public, to whatever is appropriate (Registered, or some other Access Group you have specially created for the extension). For individual items, also adjust their Access parameter; but you find this in the Menu Manager, rather than the Module Manager.
