Is there free classifieds that is very popular for selling cars?

Vehicles: Selling Classic Cars, Phase 2?

  • I was a webmaster/graphic designer who bought and sold cars (mainly classic cars from the 60's and 70's) on the side. I'd buy them cheap, fix them up a bit and sell them, usually at a decent profit. A little over a year ago I quit my job (the axe was falling shortly anyway) and had planned on starting my own Home Inspection biz for home buyers. Took a class, got licensed, etc. As of this writing I still have yet to begin the Home Inspections as the cars have kept me busy. I realized yesterday that I had earned more so far this year selling cars than my entire yearly salary at the tech job. Proof of concept, haha! I am wondering how to kick this up to the next level. I work out of my house now- luckily we have a 2 car garage and some land to stash cars without it being overwhelming. Input and ideas appreciated!

  • Answer:

I affiliate with a group that is nationally recognized in Canada for the sale of Collector Cars. There is great money to be made in the sale of antique and collector cars. If you were able to acquire them cheaply during the course of your employment and you love working with the antique vehicles then why not start your own business selling collectible cars. But if you're passionate about home inspections then follow that road. Personally I would seek out the most lucrative profession because the more lucrative of the two will be most likely to provied consistent income and long term stability for you and your family.
