Computer Vision: Where can I find a sift feature implementation which usesĀ affine detectors and outputs the position, scale, orientation and descriptor of the features?
-
Surprisingly: VLfeat does not implement affine detectors. I don't intend to use an hack and slash method - Use oxford affine detectors followed by VLFeat sift to find orientations. VLFeat may multiple response for each frame. Now find out the mapping! Is there some noble soul who understood this basic need of every noob computer vision scientist to have the option of choosing your own detectors and getting all the relevant parameters you need in the feature file.
