How do you get your account suspended?

How can I get my suspended PayPal account reactivated?

  • Back in 2004, I foolishly let my business partner use my PayPal account to accept subscription payments for an adult site. After a few months, PayPal suspended my account and told me there was no hope of re-opening it. Now it's been 8 years (or, in Internet time, two million years ;-) and I'd really like to be able to use PayPal again! I've tried calling to ask for the account to be reinstated but to no avail. Before it was suspended, I used my PayPal account primarily for eBay transactions and kept it clean (i.e. no bad payments, no overdrafts, no questionable transactions, etc.). In real life I am an established 40-year-old Internet entrepreneur with perfect credit, real estate holdings, etc... in other words, I'm absolutely no kind of financial risk, and I definitely know better than to do anything even slightly questionable with a PayPal account. I just did one stupid thing a long time ago and I'm still being punished for it, and hoping there's some way to fix the situation.

Their bans for certain things are permanent in a lot of cases. You need to find out if you had a personal/premiere or business account. One would be tied to your SSN, and the other would use your EIN. Last I remember, PayPal allows you to have one of each. You can actually have multiple business accounts provided you have EINs and bank accounts for each. My suggestion would be to open one of the other type of accounts from what you had previously.   Take the above with care. I am not a PayPal employee and do not represent them in any way. So, what I am suggestion may not be perfectly in line with their policies.

If you want to get it reinstated, you need to provide them what they are asking for. Without submitting the info, you will not get the limitation lifted.

PayPal limits accounts for a variety of reasons and often asks for documents to reinstate you. However, mostly these documents are used to identity you to keep you off PayPal in the future. In other words, pretty much once you are permanently limited, supplying the requested documents will not help you UNLESS you first bolster the status of the account.http://www.modeeworld.com/forums/forum/everything-paypal-in-the-u-s/paypal-limitations/202-paypal-limited-paypal-limitations-the-definitive-thread-on-what-to-do-what-not

If your account got permanently limited by paypal I don't think you are going to get it back.My suggestion is to make new paypal account on your relatives or friends names.Paypal is not going to believe you that your account was been used for porn subscriptions by one of your foolish friend not you.
