Well, I'm not sure if you're a Sonos owner, but you can set up the alarms to do just about anything including play a Songza playlist. This way it's all managed separately from your phone and is like, well, a real alarm/stereo. I personally wake up to David FM on my rdio service, but would probably switch to Songza if it ever gets weird.
