Are there any Vineyard vines black croakies?

How does a company like Vineyard Vines create its patterns for tie fabric?

• I don't have any artistic/design experience, but want to create patterns that are similar to the ones on Vineyard Vines ties (shown here http://www.vineyardvines.com/category__13054______13054_Y). What is the best way to go about doing this in the United States, with little money?

  Hiring a designer for neckties generally costs alot of money.  Like with anything else in life, if we want quality, we generally have to be be willing to pay for it in one of two ways (1) Invest alot of money into it, e.g in this case hiring designers or (2) Invest alot of time into it e.g - in this case learning how to use the appropriate software and developing and honing one's skills to create ties as aesthetic as Vineyard Vines.   Vineyard Vines uses alot of animal and sporting goods motifs (small repeating prints), and my understanding is that their designers probably use Adobe Photoship and Adobe Illustrator alot.  Unless you are really comfortable with these programs, creating designs that are colorful and appropriate in scale for a tie will take a long time to master, and hiring designers to do that work would cost you a fair amount of money.
