What plugin/Theme should I use in Wordpress?

What is the best WordPress.com theme to use if I want to use a WordPress.com page as my personal homepage?

  The one I use on http://bioeaching.wordpress.com is http://theme.wordpress.com/themes/freshy/. I like it because the menu bar allows you to put several categories. If you have your own website and hosting, then the best free theme to use (imo) is http://theme4press.com/evolve/. For examples of it in action, see http://www.cyprusfreethinkers.org/ and my NGO, http://enaliaphysis.org.cy/ (I'm still busy with the redesign, but you can see the feature I like). I consider it an improved version of Freshy with a much improved menu bar that allows you to put submenus, so you can do many subcategories. It makes it much more user-friendly. Also, it has a lot of design customisation options. The one gripe I have is that you may have to do editing to your base.css file to tweak a lot of the finer points, and that the php files are kinda torturous. But that may only be because I'm not a web designer :P
